Working closely with the chief executive and senior management team of this long-established yet thoroughly modern charity, Nicki has led on a review of the charity’s vision, values and mission statement, followed by a rebrand and new website. Community engagement is a crucial element of the charity’s ambitious growth plans and Nicki provides strategic and hands-on support for service development and delivery, media relations, volunteer and staff recruitment and marketing of its almshouses, community support wellbeing programme, and its specialist dementia care home
That work includes:
Major branding exercise including the development of a new logo and strapline, vision, mission and values. Nicki led that exercise bringing in stakeholders such as trustees, residents and staff producing messages and branding that truly reflected the charity
Campaign to promote the Moorside dementia care home and attract self-funders, including brochures clearly reflecting the best of its culture
Creation of a strategy to attract and retain volunteers working with staff members
Supporting efforts to inform the local community about planned developments in the City Centre and development of appropriate supporting materials
Acting as the interface with other professional contributors such as website developers, photographers and film makers
